Demaengine.org is operated by the Democracy Action Engine, a nonprofit initiative committed to empowering civic participation. Our first tool, CivicSend AI, helps individuals create and send messages to public officials quickly and easily.

By using demaengine.org or CivicSend AI, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re using our services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

3. What CivicSend AI Does

CivicSend AI helps you:

• Draft personalized messages to decision-makers.

• Identify appropriate email recipients based on your postcode.

• Generate email drafts you can edit and send via your own email account.

• We do not send emails on your behalf. You retain control of what is sent.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to harass or threaten others.

• Submit unlawful, misleading, or defamatory content.

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

• You are responsible for the content of the messages you send.

5. Data & Privacy

We respect your privacy:

• We collect minimal personal information (e.g. postcode) to support your civic actions.

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

CivicSend AI uses artificial intelligence to help draft messages. While we strive for accuracy and fairness:
